Jennifer Besch, PT/DPT/SIPT

Jennifer Besch has been a physical therapist since 1988 and has been working with children since 1990. She became very interested in sensory integration and attained her Sensory Integration and Praxis Test certification in the early 90’s. In 2013, she was introduced to Equine Assisted Therapy and realized that God was revealing a new type of outdoor sensory therapy gym to her. When she realized horses provided the perfect pelvic and trunk movement to simulate gait as well as offering a special connection with the child, she began to pursue her specialization in Equine Assisted Physical Therapy. She completed the education required for best practice standards in 2015 and has been using the horse as a therapy tool in practice ever since. In 2017, she attended the “Gateway to the Brain” course and now incorporates those brain building principles into each session.
